hey chicas!

first of all, erika, the blog looks awesome! second, i'm happy to report that I will be "grad" assisting in the fall, so I still get to see all your lovely faces in the early morning :) i guess that is incentive enough to attempt to stay in shape, despite how nice it is to be a lazy bum sometimes. haha.

so i'm back at home with my parents for the summer...started my internship with NGC (now my third summer there, i feel so old!). its been kinda boring, but its only the first week, so I guess I shouldn't expect much else. There's a lot of reading I have to do to get up to speed with the other interns on my project, but it doesn't seem too bad (yet). things have finally settled down as far as the other chaos going on at my parents' house. my little brother's graduation was last week, so there was all kinds of prep my sister and i had to do for our mom to get the house ready for entertaining along with getting things in order to start work on the new family farm. it didn't help that i looked like a chipmunk last week either (wisdom teeth pulled).

well thats about all i got for now. as i write this i'm supposed to be packing so my sis and i can drive up to the farm tomorrow at like 5am to meet the parentals, but you girls know me well enough that the whole packing thing just doesn't work for me. haha.
